Yes, there now does not seem to be a month that goes by without a major shooting in America. This is NOT working. Your "thoughts and prayers" for the families are NOT curbing gun violence. This idea that we ignore the problem and it will go away is NOT working. Are you really content that you can't seem to go to a parade, or church, or send your kids to school without a violent act happening. This should NOT be normal way of life.
It has been well said that Americans prefer the tyranny of the streets to the tyranny of the government. Thus does the law rest lightly on public life. So in periods of relative social stability - see also he 1950s - crime rates will be relatively low, but in times of social tumult - see also the 1960s and 70s, see also the present era - social discipline declines and crime rises.
This - at a general level - explaining why the USA tends to have higher crime rates than other comparable democracies. On the narrower issue of guns, there are a variety of factors that lead to the kinds of violence the nation is seeing. That said, the immediate problem the nation has is that it has a Constitution that speaks to the right of the people to bear arms. This right is asserted under the "natural rights" tradition and is assumed to be inherent in the rights of man.
This is implausible on two counts. On the more abstract level, the right to "keep and bear arms" is implied as a right of self-defense against both criminal elements and against an overbearing government. The problem is that there is nothing inherent in self-defense that necessarily implies guns. That right can just as easily be carried out with a baseball bat as with a gun.
Suggesting a right by reference to technology is ephemeral. Such a right must then be transitory - rooted in the technology available - and cannot be absolute. Yet the right of self-defense must be absolute.
On a more practical level, I come not from the "natural rights" tradition, but "natural law." That is that I believe that such rights as we have are those that are tested by time and experience and the inherent ability of the people to exercise those rights consistent with the common good and social order.
Based on what we see in violent crime statistics and the disproportionate damage done by gun violence, it is a reasonable inference that the society has demonstrated that it is not capable of handling guns in a way that is consistent with good order. Such a right cannot by definition exist - you cannot have a right to do that which is inconsistent with the broader good.
Therefore it is reasonable to argue that the Constitutional right is, in fact, a mistake. That the right to keep and bear arms is contingent rather than inherent. Throw in that Alexander Hamilton argued against the Bill of Rights on the basis that if you articulate the rights of the people, you give the government standing to regulate those rights.
Based on all of that, I favor gun control. Albeit recognizing that it is apt to have less of an impact on societal well being than its advocates imagine. Society is what it is - and in this case we have a violent one and the Second Amendment, for good or ill, is an accomplished fact.
It must be addressed on that basis.

For example if i'm holding a gun, will i just pull it out and kill people just like that or use it as my last resort between being 100% killed or to save my life!

America is a shit hole. Your "law makers" and politicians are bought by "lobbyists" America is going to crumble, capitalism is going to collapse and Americans will witness another Great Depression. If people are too young to remember the 2008-09 Great Recession in the U. S., the next Great Depression will be 100x times worse. The United States will go through a transition where the country will LITERALLY be DIVIDED and it will reflect nothing about it's name of United States in America. The western media will label certain groups as evil, the real cause of friction, tension, and mayhem will occur domestically when Americans fight each other. I wish America was safer but ignorance and absurd laws it will eventually lead to its collapse and empire. If people read history of previous empires, sure, some of them fallen due to other uprising powers, but others were destroyed from within. Ignorance is one of the worst qualities in life.
Itcis easy to blame guns but the problem is that in our society, people feel like they have no voice. The government controls more and more of our lives. People feel ignored and used. The only way they can ve heard is to get a gun and shoot up an elementary school. Until the government gets out of our lives this is likely to get worse

Two of the three suspects are minors (and the adult was released without charge). Which minors are not allowed to possess firearms in the state of Missouri. Also the motive seems to be an argument between the gunmen and the victims.
