Depends on which “we” you are talking about. Our elites are incredibly wealthy and they are always hungry for more. Ukraine was one of their favorite grift operations where they secured sinecures for friends and families and pillaged the place of its wealth, which is why it was the worst-performing economy of all the post-Soviet republics even before the war broke out. Our elites boast about how they’ll “fight to the last Ukrainian” to keep this racket going.

Everytime I hear of Ukraine getting more money from the United States somehow something whispers in my ear "Hunter Biden" is the reason Joe keeps giving them anything they ask for. It's like he's paying child support for Hunter that never seems to end.

It’s much bigger than Biden clan grift and drama. Much of our elite class was getting rich in Ukraine in similar fashion. The Western elites absolutely pillaged the place, just like they were doing to Russia before Putin put an end to it. There were also huge numbers of NGO jobs for aspiring elites. We need someplace to put all these indoctrinated college grads with otherwise worthless degrees.

Oh yeah - our defense budget. I'm sure there is plenty of money in the defense budget because our government never replaced the 85 billion dollars worth of our military equipment that Trump had to stock pile because Obama left the shelves empty too.
Trump said there is one thing he will never forgive Obama for and that is leaving America 🇺🇸 without military equipment putting every American in harm's way. We were defenseless under Obama and now with this government.
85 billion dollars worth of equipment to fight if a war was to break out we would have been able to protect America. Trump had a strategy plan to bring our equipment back from Afghanistan to America but Biden just left it there for our enemies to have.
