Why is the US sending arms to the Ukraine that will be used to kill people? Isn't that hypocritical? They want to take our guns because they are being used to kill people, yet don't mind if guns they give Ukraine are killing more people than have been killed by guns in the US for 5 years. Not only that, they are taking money away from our seniors by not putting in a dime to shore up Social Security that will be broke by 2035.
Ukraine is their global hub for money laundering, child trafficking, sex trafficking, where they were building more than 30 bioweapons labs. Mossad built one on snake island which was a lab to weaponize a 100% airborne rabies virus. Think zelensky and soros are cousins or something too by the way. The arms being sent are basically removing from our armories and were also paying for their pensions too.
Ukraine and zelesnky had an agreement that fighting would stop as long as Ukraine promised not to join NATO. Joe and his advisors stepped in said fuck no, blew up the nord stream and the Russians just launched a real life hunt for red October submarine that has 6 kiloton torpedo's capable of creating 1,500-2000 ft radioactive tidal waves. Submarine vanished too apparently. Imagine how we would feel if Mexico and Canada were developing bio labs on our borders and mistreated their people and we had no choice but to allow them to hold elections so they could break away from tyranny.

I agree with the questioning. I don’t like my tax dollars being spent to prop up a neutral country against a nuclear power. Not saying Russia is doing the right thing but any amount of arms supplied to the Ukraine is a lot when considering the consequences of our support. Why not spend that type of money to achieve peace without fighting? I haven’t heard the US shouting for peace. No summits or talks mentioned when fighting broke out. I mean the executive branch met with Putin within the last few years, it can’t be that there is no avenue for communication. The US also subsidizes the arms industry in our country keeping the defense budget inflated despite no conflict that our country is dealing with…honestly when was the last declaration of war by congress? Still the defense budget is like a trillion dollars, sinking tons of money into Boeing, Lockheed, and the others. It’s a terrible shame that each President and Congress has continued to perpetuate the system that has produced a vast and unstable Military complex. On shareholder calls the big arms companies were reportedly ecstatic about the war in Ukraine. So on the tab of the taxpayers the US government has engaged in a proxy war with Russia yet again. Horrible policy that is costing people lives and money.
The last war declared by Congress was World War II in 1941. Everything else has been some kind of euphemism that squeaked around Congress to enrich the military industrial complex. General, and then President Eisenhower famously warned the American people about the power level of the military industrial complex during his departure from the White House speech. Rome fell because of its military industrial complex owning its government. There were other causes, but this was one of the larger causes. A country Founded on Roman basics and enlightenment Updates seems to have learned nothing from Rome. The only reason we are in Ukraine is because Democrat politicians have laundered so much taxpayer money there and committed so many other crimes there that if the puppet that Obama installed in 2014, didn’t get help defending his country, he would expose among others, the Clintons, the Bidens and the Obamas. Those crime families can’t have that, so they will spare no expense in taxpayer money or blood to save their sorry hides.
@Sixgunsound I agree with the first part, the second part however paints the American Democratic Party as a scapegoat for the main reason for the funding. I would say they are complicit but not solely responsible. The American industrial complex has both of the major political parties under control and were frothing at the mouth when a war in Ukraine was on the horizon. There are way more complexities to this than just, “the leading democrats have to cover their tracks.” I mean even trump was using the military leverage as a bargaining chip for information and he was a Republican who was just in office. So although I would a agree that the US is not blameless in this war, it’s certainly not a single party causing all the funding to go there.

So here’s how foreign aid money works in a nutshell: large western nations rob their taxpayers, and then either send the money directly, or send military equipment which is been sold on the black market, or some combination of both. A predetermined portion of that “aid“ whether directly cash grants or the proceeds of illegal black market arms sales, then makes its way through a series of roadblocks designed to make tracing it impossible, back into the bank accounts of US, UK, or other prominent western nations politicians pockets.

I read lots of different sources and have been for quite a while. There is pertinent history going all the way back to the end of the cold war. I don't have the memory to regurgitate all the names, dates and events. The U. S. has been behind the scenes through it all. It is obsessed with weakening and even destroying Russia.
Lliam, Russia was destroyed once when it went bankrupt, but the US did nothing to finish the job. We just let them regrow instead of like we did in WWII when we occupied Japan and Germany.
USSR was Russia at one time. I myself never called the shebang the USSR, I called it Russia as everything was run from the Kremlin. After Russia (USSR) went bankrupt, then it split up into the various smaller "Stans" and "Kraines". To me it was still all one communist regime and don't recall there being a separate "Russia".
We gave them weapons to basically tell Russia, China and North Korea to stop thinking they even stand a chance against us. We could literally destroy any one of those countries using a small portion of weaponry we have.
I don't think people realize we've been working on having technology that puts us out of range of being defeated since WWII.

Of course it shores up Social Security. Most of that money goes to pay labor, which pays into the SS system. Doing it that way is better than bailing out SS directly. At least it makes lots of jobs for lots of people along the way, and creates a lot of tax revenue besides SS.
How it really works is, Ukrainian is given a coupon to buy American made military equipment. So no money actually leaves American soil. American military manufacturing gets paid by congress. Then military contractors go back home and buy from local restaurants and goods, big economic boom and zero inflation for USA economy. It's a win win for big USA USA.
Same exact reason why we deal arms to Saudi arabia even though they caused 9/11/2001. It's a similar deal but morality bankrupted.

Therefore, it must be defended at all costs. Also, defending it at all costs means lucrative contracts for the military industrial complex. Any cash sent to Ukraine will be skimmed by the corrupt leaders there and a lot goes out the back door to Western elites.

@JohnK123 Before you were born, but after things the teachers are allowed to talk about in schools, the Ukraine was part of a country or group of countries rather called the Soviet union. That group of countries was politically economically and socially opposed to the Western world to such a degree that our allies and their allies built bought or stole nuclear arsenals to terrorize eachother into not ending the human race by a principle known as mutual assured destruction. Ukraine, as an economically vital part of the Soviet Union, was an enemy nation during that era. I realize the 70s and 80s don’t really get a whole lot of traction in schools, the 70s because it was a different civil rights era in which organizations like the black panthers commit domestic terrorism and we’re not allowed to talk about that, and we can’t talk about the 80s because Reagan was president and accomplished a lot in a very short amount of time. And we can’t talk about conservative victories. Suffice it to say if it was in living memory Ukraine had nuclear missiles pointed at United States interests.
