Tornado outbreak coming. What do you think?

A really, really bad tornado outbreak si believed to be happening Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. i know not everyone watches the weather, but if you live anywhere in "dixie alley" watch the weather once per day or even twice per day to stay informed.

This could rival 2011 for central pressure. i hope to God it doesn't actually produce that many tornadoes.

just a reminder that, even if no tornadoes... gusts of winds can be a big deal around big ass trees...

True. The forecast for wind shear is off the charts, so there could be some very high straight line winds.

Accuweather is saying isolated storm max of 100mph winds now. That's going to bring down trees in north louisiana and arkansas and mississippi for sure.

Yeah, we'll know more in the coming days about how bad it's really going to get, but all of the major modes are showing central pressure similar to 2011, and pretty convincing storm ingredients. Vertical wind shear aloft around 150mph is forecast by the models. Of course, this doesn't make it to the ground that strong, but it' the tornadoes that do the damage, not straight line winds.
