Why or why don't you think politics only matters because the stock markets matter?

It's a curious question, surely those folks out there who don't give two owl hoots 🦉 🦉 about politics and political news - surely they must only care about political outcomes because "they're forward thinkers and they worship the stock market" those individuals who either don't care politics stuff or only treat politics as indifferently as someone who says they don't follow sports 👀 any sports 😶😐

Lol I mean wasn't capitalism a sub-story within that weird Network movie from the '70s hahahaha - 😂 lol I don't care for the weird stuff in it, I only appreciated the tasteful and non-weird aspects like the short speech about capitalism and that "businesses matter" -

Politics is about power. Governance and economics are secondary but part of that power play. There's a lot more that goes into politics than just stocks.

@wynning oh I think I knew people would misread - I'm asking "shouldn't even people who aren't interested at all in politics, care that the stock market matters and, like daily news, or all sources, the stock market goes up and down according to news, according to political decisions, political outcomes, again like the news, like the weather," - so I always find it intriguing when people care indifferently to stocks like they care indifferently to politics when - "it affects us" ✌🏻🌞🥳

Oh right okay. But I doubt people who aren’t interested in politics at all would be any more interested in the stock market. Anything that affects the economy affects the stock market ~

Actually a lot of factors do. You’d kind need to be c at least partially interested in how they affect the market as well to really keep up.
