The Supreme Court ruled that ICE can go into LA and arrest and deport illegal aliens. Another win for US?

I don’t see it as a win…. I see it as the way it was always meant to be. No country should allow illegals to run across their borders and claim citizenship. That’s not how it works.
That's not how the constitution works. The Supreme Court has lost all credibility.
(Article II, Section 3) provides a basis for the President to enforce immigration laws.
And Trump is doing it. As it was meant to be. Legal immigration is fine. Illegal immigration is illegal by definition.

4th Amendment says it all.
@dustybiker2 No it does not. ICE agents have probable cause and in most cases arrest warrants. They have broken out laws by simply crossing the border. It is perfectly legal to arrest and deport them.
This is happening whether democrats like it or not.
@exitseven "ICE agents have probable cause and in most cases arrest warrants."
Bullshit. Don't ever say that to me again.
@dustybiker2 Just coming across the border makes them a criminal according to Immigration Laws. That means that they are subject to arrest and deportation. That is pretty cut and dried. If they are living in an illegal alien shelter then ICE has probable cause to arrest them. That is pretty cut and dried too. And of course it they stumble across an illegal alien while looking for somebody else they are fair game.
How does any of this violate any lay never mind the constitution?
@exitseven As much as you might want to. You don't get to bend or break the constitution. And I'm going to bet the supreme court can't either.
@dustybiker2 It is true. If there is a hotel that is harboring illegal aliens because the state is renting the hotel tom house illegal aliens, that is called probable cause to investigsted further. A warrant speaks for itself.
The Supreme Court will uphold this but it is a no brainer.
@exitseven The world does not revolve around one single hotel that happens to irritate you.
@dustybiker2 No, but this hotel is a microcosm of a larger problem. There are dozens of these hotels scattered around the country at taxpayer expense. Billons have been squandered that should have been used for the benefits of Americans.
@exitseven renting a hotel room is not probable cause
@dustybiker2 No, but living in a hotel where the state rents the entire hotel for the purpose to provide housing for illegal aliens is.
The hotel had many long term residents many of whom were disabled veterans that were evicted so that illegal aliens could be housed. It is pretty much a no brainer.
It's unfortunate that the ruling was 6-3 along party lines. Yes, I know SCOTUS justices don't belong to a party, but there were 6 conservatives for and 3 liberals against. Plus, SCOTUS did not include a written opinion of why they ruled the way they did. That's also unfortunate.
I can understand a possible reasoning... the US Constitution makes the federal government responsible for immigration, which makes it wrong for states and cities to interfere with that.
@exitseven Dems are too late. Conservatives already did that. 😐
@AviatorTom Trump appointed 3 conservatives. It was the luck of the draw.
@AbiatorTom there has been many years that the left had the majority in the Supreme Court. A conservative president replaced retiring or deceased judges with conservative judges isn’t the same as the democrats wanting to chance the
The number of judges so they could add liberal judges. (Sorry sent before I was done typing
Thanks for MHO
The Supreme Court has been giving Trump a lot of leeway
ICE is a federal law enforcement agency just like the FBI and federal sheriffs. They can go anywhere in the U. S. INCLUDING Indian nations to investigate crimes or make arrests. LA is part of the U. S. the last I looked.
@BadApple69 That LA is really part of the US can be debated
There was a time when California was a beautiful place not now that the left has gotten a hold of it.
I knew you would get that wrong. lol

Lol, it's just legalised racism, is all. You won't find ice chasing down German, French or British overstayers or visa dodgers...
False. Even state dept says so fool
Do you even believe your own nonsense anymore?
My sister works in an international school. Families from Europe went back on their own when their visa was up. They followed the laws.
My French tenant stayed with us for 2 years. Once their Artist Grant was over, they went back to France.
Not necessarily a “win”, but a move in the right direction.
No. Alossfor the Constitution and for Civil Rights. Don't bitch to me when they arrest YOU.
@exitseven You have a better chance of getting killed by proud boys pretending to be trained ICE in that crowd.
Another win for sanity!
Absolutely another win!!!
I don't believe what's going on it's ridiculous
That's not what they decided at all.
It’s not?
Common sense, but yes
No, a loss for the American people.
@exitseven. No, by deporting the wrong people!
