I'm just curious. The fictional Vicar of Dibley, a fictional clergy person, was always of warm good cheer and humble humility and good humour - and aware of secular sensibilities and making life fun. And modern. While still holding the values of traditional attire, respect. The basics, duh, still. ๐บ ๐ Praise the good lordy lord, who surely does provide. Shrug, I guess we'll find out in coming months - who's the next Archbishop of Canterbury not to be mistaken for Cadbury chocolate ๐ซ ๐

The current Archbishop of Canterbury is a white man. The future of this office, in the way it is currently constituted, is not on this planet. It will be on the next one, in a more universal church. For now, it's a historical fact that the office is held by a white man. It's a fact, not a spiritual necessity.
@hardon-collider I recall Justin Welby resigned and since or by January 2025 to the present day here September 2025, "the office is vacant" and is currently being administered by "acting clergy"
