There is a film called "The Vatican Tapes" that illustrates a female antichrist, which is the first time I've seen it to be female. So say there is an antichrist, because Christ was male, do you think the Antichrist will be female?

But to be fair, the text of 1 John 2:18 does mention THE (masculine) character coming (as of A. D. 100, the estimated date of the last pen-stroke in the New Testament), AND a plural version having already arrived (again, 'as of A. This should make sense, since many, many things (male/female people & objects, concrete or conceptual) take the place of God today, even among so-called believers.
No, I think it will be male. However, the book of Revelation describes Babylon as a female, and Babylon will basically be the core of corruption and iniquity on earth. With the way the world has increasingly glorified women and especially Caucasian women, and with how we are in bondage to them sexually and they exploit that, Revelation's prophecy would make perfect sense.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy I don't believe it has anything to do with the Catholic church. Some Christians believe the Beast will be the Catholic church but I'm not sure about that either. I do believe that Babylon is actually America.
The book of Genesis reveal to man what women did in the beginning that led to the flood. Women want to be worshiped so I believe the antichrist is a female.

If you notice, many flaws/negative behaviors in women are very closely linked to the way Satan is, and I think it's because Eve had the first and closest contact with him in the Garden.
The Antichrist has to be extremely charismatic, which wasn't the case for Elliot. Hitler was charismatic but there would need to be a lot more than "a little bit" of Hitler, to compensate for Elliot's social ineptitude.
There have been some hideously evil female psychopaths over the years, and a few hidieously evil female monarchs and other nobles over the years. I think that would qualify ias a "female antichrist".
However, I don't believe in Jesus any more anyway. I'm a Deist now. I reject Jesus of Nazareth and believe he was a false prophet, as were all of his apostles.
The antichrist is could be literally everything Christ is, so a female antichrist is possible. I also must mention that the Bible specifys "an" antichrist as someone who denies Christ, so on theory -- there are many antichrists and many of them may be female. Also in Rev 13:2, it states, "To it the dragon gave his power and his throne and great authority", we can see that the main opponent of Christ in the Last Days will be a male.

There have been many antichrists. If you are referring to the Dispensationalist interpretation of Apocalyptic Scripture... yeah, I would be careful there. It should be interpreted according to its literary form, not literally.
It seems more like a direct transliteration issue. The issue is that Greek 'ἀντί' ("anti"; "an-TEE";「against/in place of」) & the English 'anti-' don't exactly mean the same thing, despite both terms being composed of the same letter-counterparts.

Probably male. Although since the Antichrist is opposing to Jesus, the sex could be opposing too but I think the opposition is more akin to the power and promises possessed.

The Book of Revelation says the Earth is supported by four angels at its corners (a square) and the winds come from the corners of the Earth.
