Trey Reed and Corey Zukatis: Two men found hanging in Mississippi on same day, suspicious deaths stun state

Mississippi is reeling from the discovery of two men, Demartravion "Trey" Reed, a college student, and Corey Zukatis, a homeless man, found hanging from trees in separate incidents on Monday. While authorities are investigating, and have not confirmed foul play, the eerily similar circumstances have sparked outrage and reignited painful memories of racial violence.

I think i share these peoples frustrations over these murders:

“Two young people lynched in Mississippi. Two children. They had aspirations and a family. Police are already trying to convince us this is a suicide.”

“Where is the fury over this? Where are the moments of silence? Where are the Instagram stories, thinkpieces, and flags at half-mast? These boys were lynched in 2025

Where indeed? I think this story tells you everything you need to know about what the far right in this country prioritizes. I also can't help but also think that this is something many on that side of the aisle really want...
