Sick Category 5 Typhoon will make close call to Hong Kong. What do you think of this?

It looks like it will be around 150mph sustained Cat 4 at closes approach to Hong Kong. It wouldn't' take but a tiny wobble north to bullseye the city.

Update here:
The strongest wind China got on land was 132mph (sustained I think) with higher gusts. They reported 180-something MPH winds offshore a day earlier, which is a tad stronger than the Joint Typhoon Warning center was reporting. Thankfully th estorm slightly missed Hong Kong and died down by a full category before final landfall.

There were 13 inches of rain reported in the Philippines and 24 inches of rain reported in Taiwan, with terrible flooding in both China and Taiwan.

Thanks to humans and their destructive power will those kind of meteorological events go increasing, not just in Asia but mostly in North America.

Humanity has never learned anything from the past and it will never do it as long as they believe they can mishandle our planet. In a way, it is the Earth's way of paying back for our mistakes but alas, it is always the wrong people that have to pay for the errors and not Mr. Trump himself or any of his predecessors for putting economic priorities before the ones of nature and our planet.

And when we have destroyed our planet, the moon will be the next victim...

The strongest pacific Typhoon on record happened at the end of World War 2, and has a maximum wind speed estimated to be 230mph sustained. That was 80 years ago when the Atmospheric temperature was about 0.8F cooler.

The strongest Atlantic hurricane on record was Allen some 45 years ago when temperatures were around 0.45F cooler. The strongest Atlantic landfall on record was Labor Day 1935, which is 90 years ago with atmospheric temperatures some 0.9F cooler than today.

Of the 35 deadliest tropical cyclone disasters in world history, 28 of them happened during Volcanic Winters, not Global Warming events.
