Australia has best practice on illegal immigrants and asylum seekers. Illegal immigrants are immediately transported to a tiny Pacific island. Once on the island they can make an asylum claim and it will be processed. They can make immigration application on the same basis as everybody else can but get no special privileges from having attempted illegal immigration.
Ireland needs a tiny island for interning illegals for the term of their natural life or when they are willing to go back where they came from.

Ireland needs to adopt the Australian way and intern illegals on an island. Process them from there at exactly the same priority as legal immigrants to apply to resettle. @Pescatarian it says a lot about the different cultures of africa in my opinion. if we were to graph crime by black men as a total, then black men that are first time immigrants/illegals and then we could follow those that had sons for a further in depth cultural study, we might get some surprising results? it would almost be a study on slave culture vs. true African culture (respectfully divided by africa's many). i'd say, what we refer to as male African americans, would probably have a really high crime rate, recidivism rate and have a list of repeat offenses for similar crimes. i think the African immigrants would have some crime, but not as high and would show a cultural inclination to commit an offense, whether by accident or not. not all parts of africa are equal and if immigrants are coming from an underdeveloped country/culture already, then it's highly likely this individual is at a severe disadvantage entering a country with an established segregationist history.

No. I'm an immigrant in South Africa. As such I've had to adapt to the culture here. It's no different to how it should be in Ireland, the UK or anywhere else. Parallel cultures don't work. Anywhere. You can't have one law for muslim illegal immigrants and another for natural citizens.
Islam is incompatible with European culture. It has been for 1400 years. The invasions of Christian nations around the Mediterranean eventually led to the Crusades to repel the evil it brought with it. The result was restoring Christianity in Spain, Portugal, Greece etc.

I know one or two other English immigrants but except for matches against England I cheer for the Boks. I braai with friends from the community. English in south Africa is the second most spoken language so it's definitely not what the majority speak in the country but it depends on where in south Africa you live, I'm assuming you're in Cape Town as joburg, KZN, eastern Cape and Northern Cape certainly don't speak English commonly compared to Cape Town as it's white and colored majority.
