Bernie Sanders proposed a bill to tax billionaires, and give $3,000 stimulus checks to Americans that qualify. How do you feel about this?

You need to read a little about the reason tax breaks were given in the first place. As I understand it and I admit I could be wrong, Tax breaks were issued by the Federal Government as an incentive for manufacturing to hire more American workers. Working Americans generate Massive amount of income taxes. Employees cost about 75% of a firms profits. So hiring more employees seem counter Intuitive. Tax breaks were to offset that expense. Fast Forward to today, Corporations have to satisfy investors first even if that means out sourcing. Only problem is that Out sourcing generates no income tax. So one would assume that the tax breaks disappear. Have they?

It was our excess income taxes that allowed us to participate in world leadership. So would we be able to be great again if everyone paid a fair share? Are loopholes in tax law diminishing our ability to take care of our own? Frankly, I don't know.

You can set the tax rate at 100% and they wouldn't pay a dime more than they do now. There are enough tax havens around the world for billionaires to put their money. Democrat and Republican politicians take advantage of those tax havens too and they aren't going to change it. When the government needs money they raise taxes on the middle class because it is the largest group of tax payers and adds the most revenue.

What a f*****. The average American pays far more tax than that at the moment, so all he is saying is that he will tax you a little less one time if you give him power to destroy your country.
