A whale is a totally different story than a dolphin for example. Sorry but I have a geo block and cannot watch the N-TV link you posted. I would have to subscribe or allow advertisement, which I absolutely refuse.

If that whale is not kept moist or wet, it will eventually die or suffocate and I have my doubts that the people there would be able to bring this gentle giant into the water in time.

It is always sad to hear about that and how cruel humans can be. Rather than to take that old net back, they simply discard it in the ocean, very well knowing that it may harm a fish or an ocean mammal.

Profit is more important than saving those living beings.

It is sad that humans set their priorities differently than to help animals and nature. It is so much easier to sell weapons for useless wars rather than to do a big effort to save a creature that most probably got stranded because of humans in the first place.

It don't help to close the eyes. We have to watch our nature & environment. The whale lost hope to find back. It is important to safe and help wherever it ia possible. If everybody does a little bit there will be much help.
