Yes, they race anything. Lawn mowers, lobster boats, even cockroaches. People will bet money on the result too.

@purplepoppy It's a figure-8 track. This race was pretty clean but more often there's carnage as the vehicles crash into each other in the middle of the figure-8.

Guys are so competitive they will race just about anything. Even mowing the lawn at the same time as your neighbour is as good an excuse as any.
