Do you think Hayden Panettiere had any idea she was coming to the end of her life?

This is one think i've always noticed about the under 40 crowd. Their belief that they're invincible. I know she abused substances. I know she knew she had a problem. But do you think it ever REALLY hit herwhere it would eventually end up if she didn't change?

I mean from what i understand if Amy Winehouse, she knew, and she still couldn't change. I don't sense that with Hayden.

Subconsciously intuitively maybe. It is common to have intuition that you'll die by XYZ and enjoy what you've got to the last minute.

Most people, unless they are 70+ still think they are invincible to some degree. The younger the more risky the behavior and lies they think death could knock on their door.

Knowing all the things that came to light in the wake of this i think she could, she just didn't want to. I think it was her escape, her coping mechanism from whatever she considered in life too difficult to deal with. To me that's not true addiction. That's escapism. You can't fix the problem if you don't want to fix the actuator of it. Just my take.

Could be the case. I do think child actors are in the spotlight for so long that they end up looking for an escape.

It's rarely about feeling invincible In her interviews and memoir, she talked about dealing with extreme mental health battles, grief, and postpartum depression. When someone is in that much pain, they're aware of the risk, but the illness makes getting help incredibly hard.

Agreed, but in all fairness what woman doesn't act dramatic? Some women really do have a tough go of it. And some women are victim from the minute the open their eyes. I really don't know much about Hayden. But she handled a workload.

The sad thing is that drugs win , she had an addiction that she couldn’t control and that’s why the drugs won. I lost my oldest brother because he was addicted to drugs and we tried getting him help so many times for it. , but it didn’t do shit , once someone is addicted to something , only they can try to stop themselves because no one else can stop it for them , you can try to help someone as much as possible but if they aren’t willing to receive the help , it’s a lost battle , why after my brother died , I said the drugs won.

Probably yeah. Her personal life was a train wreck. The only good thing she had in her life she screwed up, lost custody of her kid, divorced a good man, had a succession of abusive bad boy boyfriends and spent her 30s trying to rebuild her career and of course the drugs.

Man I didn't know she died. Dang that's sad. She was really good in Heroes. So many memories of that show. Crazy she's only a little older than me. We're all so damn fragile. I blame Sylar for her dying.

I suppose that's possible. But from what i understand her life was always a bit chaotic. I mean i'm not hearing anything defining to support that.

I suppose she knew but she couldn't stop. I knew she had a lot of issues, she was suffering. Perhaps she couldn't take the pain anymore. It's so sad to see a life ending so soon and like that.

No. At young ages one fees invincible.

People know drugs and smoking and alcohol are dangerous. they do it anyways. People don't change until they have a revelating strong reason or no other choice. Some aren't lucky enough.

I am of the opinion that she didn't realize the danger she was putting herself into, or she might have kicked the substance abuse and turned herself around, and she still might be alive today.
