How did Palpatine know that Anakins wife Padme Amidala was going to die?

I think in a way that was only an option cause if Anakin didn't turn and hurt Padme she might have lived. Palpatine might have known it as he can read mind (Anakin had such dreams of Padme dying) so even if he didn't know if Padme will surely die or not he used that to turn Anakin.

I don't think he did. I believe he just put nightmares of her dying in Anakins head in order to have him become Lord Vader. She just happened to die. And he's some all powerful force user so I'm sure he can feel people like yoda.

It wasn't the first time Anakin had visions seeing thing before they happen his mom said he did it in tpm and in the attack of the cloens he saw his mom dying or being hurt by tusken raiders and then she died of her wounds for real

He didn't. He used anakin's fear of her dying to turn him to the darkside. There was much fear in Annakin and as we all know fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate and hate leads to suffering

But why would he throw that out there "I can save your wife from certain death" when Anakin discovers that he is the Sith Lord and pull his lightsaber out on him.

Anakin is a good guy who suffers from PTSD from his inability to save his mother. The jedi order stifled human emotion instead of teaching anakin how to control his emotions, and this is part of what led to there downfall and created darth vader

Fear is not some slippery slope. Yoda , Obiwan and Mace windu had fears as well. fear is only bad if you dont control it and gets to a psychotic level. and I can understand how tihs can happen when you have the force.

1. Palpatine could see visions of the future.
2. Palpatine was using the darkside to manipulate and influence Annakin since he came to the jedi temple.
3. Palpatine knew the best way to turn annakin to the darkside was using padme.
4. When Qui Gon Jinn brought annakin b4 the the jedi council they refused to train him as they sensed great fear in him and a chance he may turn
5. It was annakin's fear of losing Padme brought on by a force vision that turned him to the darkside and ironically what he feared happened by his own hand in his anger.
