If Anakin remained in the counsel chambers when Mace Windu fought Palpatine, would he have been granted the rank of master?

Kinda yes and no at the same time. So from the jedi side probably yes.
But there where hints, that palpatine only "lost" to mace windu because he wanted abakin to intervene and turn him completly. That would mean he probably had a way out even in the situation he was in.

Sorry no hints, the source for the info that palp would have beaten Mace without anakins intervention is a post commentary from George lucas. 🙈

Also palp had plenty of alternatives for Vader. Non would have been as powerful as vader but that would have only played Into his hands. Betrayal is a big sith thing so having plenty weaker sith apprentices would have been better in the end. Also ultimatly vaders existance even killed him so yeah...
