Thoughts on Sandra O'Connor death?

Sandra O'Connor was a member of the Supreme Court of the United States. She was nominated in 1981 by Ronald Reagan and was the first female to serve that role. She was considered a moderate conservative and usually was the swing and decisive vote in the court.

She retired in 2005 and was succeeded by Samuel Alito. She died recently at the age of 93.

I would not say that she was a great justice for a female. I would simply say that she was a great justice. Period.

And credit to Reagan for appointing her.

She proved that women were suited to serve as Justice, unlike Sotomayor, Kagan and Jackson, who are box checkers.
