Absolutely yes. Her niece, Danielle Parton, is a Boeing 787 pilot for American Airlines and has Dolly’s sense of humor. She wondered if they would change the three-letter airport code to DPI (for Dolly Parton International) or simply DDD 😀
She was a good person and a legend of Nashville's country music scene. She deserves it for real, unlike trump (Palm Beach Airport) or fuckin' charlie birk (who has got a highway named after him in Tennessee for no valid reason).
I do. If you've ever lived in that part of the world (Western NC in my case) you'll understand the impact of this very real woman... she is missed in that region more than you might imagine.
