Is it normal for a guy friend to send heart emojis telling me happy Valentine’s Day?

My friend Vinny has sent me snaps of him with lifts, texting me quite frequently now, shirtless pics, pics of everything going on in his life and told me yesterday happy Valentine’s Day with heart emojis. Is that normal because my other guys friends don’t do that well except him and my former guy friend.
