How can I show new friends my appreciation on Valentine's Day?

I have some friends I made this week that I really want to make cards for, but I'm worried about coming off as creepy or odd for being too attached too fast. How can I show appreciation for new friends without coming off as weird?

I think you should just do it. It's a nice gesture. Don't second-guess yourself so much. That can actually make you act weird, like you might try to overly explain the reasons for your actions and that can start to come off a bit weird. So just do it! Stay cool.

How about telling them? Are they Christians? Are they from Church? If so then words of affirmation may be accepted more readily than if they are just school friends. Telling people that you appreciate them is always a good thing.

Yeah, they're from my church actually! I don't have school anymore since I don't go to college, but they seem nice :))
