Girls, Girl asks if we’re going to Valentine’s as friends?

So this girl and I have been spending a lot of time at each other’s places together after classes, and I’ve come to really like her personality.

i asked her to a valentine’s dinner about 2 weeks ago (to which she replied yes), and today she texts me “hey, you’re taking me as a friend correct? Still excited to go!”

Now, I take this to mean she’s firmly interested in keeping me as a friend (despite some of her behavior when we’re alone dictating otherwise). Am i correct, or wrong here?

Yeah, it sounds like she’s confirming with you that this is just a friendly thing. Valentines is such a romantic day, she doesn’t want there to be any blurred lines and setting a boundary. You can still take her out if you want, just keep in mind that you’d only be going as friends.
