I like this guy but I think he's out of my league

Question

ok so this guy I like he's a football player. he's quiet fun and sometimes energetic. basicly he knows how to have a good time. I only had him for one of my classes last year and we never talked. I don't have him for any classes this year but I know his myspace. should I add him and what do I say. but the thing is I feel he's out of my league but that doesn't mean I don't want to try. I just don't know what to do

Except, I DO have a class with my football player right now. Lol

And I'm not a cheerleader, I'm a tennis player. But at least those are both activities!

Well, I feel like I'm not 'awesome' enough for him, because he's so awesome himself!

He's tall, (I am too, though. 5'8" for a girl isn't bad! Lol), blue eyes, blond hair, tan, strong, that smile that makes me weak in the knees, and a twinkle when it happens!

He's basically the ALL-AMERICAN guy and I just adore him. (:

But he hangs out, or is good friends with, all these really pretty girls and that makes me insecure... I don't know him very well, but I want to so badly! More than anything I want to AT LEAST be his friend.

SO! You know what I did? I talked to him.

Why? Because even though in my eyes he's almost perfect, he is, ultimately, just a person like you and me (: The pads and cute butt don't make him Jesus! Lol

All you have to do is find something about them to talk about.

With my guy, I saw that he was wearing those bracelets that are supposed to like, balance out your body or something weird like that.

Me: "Oh! You have those bracelet thingies!?" ( I was truly interested though. Don't talk to him about something unless you honestly want to know about it, otherwise, you'll sound fake!)

Him: "Hahah yeah! All the guys on the football team have one, so I got two!" (I found it cute that he had one on each wrist)

Me: "Do they work?"

Him: "I don't know. I guess we'll find out tonight!" (We had a football game that night.)

Me: "What position do you play?"

Him: "I'm a safety."

Me: "Awesome! You're a starter?"

Him: "Yeah! On defense."

Etc. And the conversation was very relaxed! He was SO SWEET! Honestly, I thought he might be kinda uninterested and put-offish, but because I went for it, I found out that my crush was amazing! Talking to him was the best ever and I can't wait for our next class! So just go for it! Maybe he'll end up liking you too! I hope my crush likes me! :)

yeah.go for it.there's noooo such thing as being out of a GUYS league.guys don't have league's, they are pretty lame a lot of the time.you probably have a league and maybe he's not fit for it.either way give it a try.guys always appreciate a friendly girl and it could always turn into something.

first off.no one is outta anyone league.lets clear that up if someone says that then they are right you are too good for them. but the hardest part is initiating the conversation.so just say something small like a hey how is football going and stuff like that

r you suggesting ur not good enough for him? you shouldn't think like that. try getting to know him and see where it goes. it could end up wrkin out or maybe he feels the same (you being out of his league), and if that's the case you shud DROP him because that's just plain bs for a guy to be tellin a gurl she's not good enough for him.
