yes I kno this is going to sound weird but to make a long story short, I've been sick with constant nausea for about 5 or 6 years. its getting pretty redic and I need to have some kind of releaf so PLEASE if you have any kind of information to stop or cure nausea please let me know.

yea been to multiple doc.'s and no one is finding anything wrong with me. just throwin that in there in case some smart ass says oh maybe you should go to the doctors for this lol.

You need to go see a gastroenterologist and have them run a series of digestion tests on you. I had this done 5 years ago because I was experiencing constant nausea. As it turns out, I have gastroparesis, which means that I digest things very slowly and sometimes I can't digest them at all. This results in me feeling so bad that I have to throw the food up in order to get any kind of relief.

I'm currently taking Nexium, Domperidone (imported from Canada), and Compazine (an anti-nausea drug for chemo patients). This combo helps me feel much much better and I can now actually be normal and not boot twice a day.

  Yea I went to the gastroenterologist and had a scope get stuffed down my throat so they could look around and they found nothing. I'm gonna have to try those medicines you take are they over the counter? I'm actualy taking pills that's also for chemo patients but I don't think there working so much anymore.

  No, you need a prescription for all three meds. Ask your gastroenterologist to do an emptying scan. They make you eat food with dye in it and then they see how long it takes to get to your intestines. If you digest really slowly, then this explains the nausea and they can fix it or give you pills.

One word.

Gravol

It's an anti-nauseant, supposed to work for motion sickness and just nausea in general. It's an over the counter, and some pharmacists need a reason as to why you need the gravol.

i would talk to your doctor and see if you can get massages. you could look up in your area for massage therapy colleges and they often will do cheap massages for their students to practice. you should not get a massage while sick since it will make it worse but if your doctor oks it than I think you would be fine. I get 3 massages a week at my massage therapy college and I have not been sick since last march. so anyways I highly recommend massage and just make sure that you drink half your body weight each day in ounces. feel free to ask me any questions that you may have.

Menstrual cycle symptoms? Other than that, I think you need to see MORE doctors, because frankly, looking for a medical diagnosis or cure for something like that on an advice site isn't exactly leading you to the right direction.

It would also help to know WHERE the nausea is in your body.

  No menstrual cycle systems is causing this. yea I'm in the process of seing more specialists. I'm just asking if anyone knows some kind of temporary relief I can try.

  Yea I tried motion sickness bracelets lol. like, I feel like it comes up in my throat, and won't go back down. it feels like I'm about to vomit ALL the time

  The lining in your throat. I can't remember what it's called but if it's damaged it can't keep vomit from staying in the stomach or traveling up the throat. The most common cause I know for the lining to be damaged is bulimia.

  K well I know I hate throwing up and will stop myself from doing by any means necessary . that's why this sickness sucks so bad lol. but ill have to get that checked out now. thanks !

  Ginger definitely helps. I highly recommend the products from GingerPeople dot com. I love to sail, but some of my dates have gotten nauseaus (from sea sickness, not from me :-) So now I keep a lot of their chewable candy products on hand and that's helped a lot.
