i don't think that sluttly is any and every girl who has a short skirt or noticeable cleavage. to me, a girl can show off cleavage, a bit of the bra (ex under an oversized tank, or just a strap), or wear somehting short but not look slutty. if she does so to suit the overall outfit, her figure,or because that's the style of clothing she wanted to wear, or simply wants to look or feel good, that's fine. for ex, going for edgy type look link athletes often wear very short skirts/shorts with low cut tanks but because of the reason they wear them, we don't consider them slutty. dressing for your figure also sometimes gets mistaken for dressing for attention.
i have sort of muscley legs, and am 5'5. I know that when I wear long skirts I end up looking very short or thicker, despite the fact that I'm very skinny overall. so I keep my dresses and skirts short because it suits and fits me better overall, not because I want everyone staring at my legs but some people may be quick to assume otherwise.
it does also have to with how the girl behaves.
if she dresses revealingly, but bends over a lot on purpose or shows off more boobage around the guy, then ye that's pretty much 'slutty'
dressing slutty to me is more when the girl doesn't care about the outfit or her figure or anything and simply tried to show as much skin and sexual-type clothing as possible. she does it deliberately, and not because of the style or occasion. she will also not carry herself with much respect either.
so in general, some people may consider my dressing to be sometimes 'slutty', but I never carry myself in that sort of way. I do not care about those sort of quick-judging type of people or their opinions. I do not think something as beautiful as the human/female body was created to be fully covered all the time, or else I would just wear a burqah. we are all free to dress how we want, not how we think guys want us to dress or how we think our parents want us to dress.
Sexy:Clothing that accentuates your assets however it does not completely expose them.
Slutty:Clothing that are too tight or short that exposes to much cleavage or but cheeks.Or underwear being shown etc,lacking modesty.
Dressing "slutty" to me is never appropriate unless you're playing a character in a movie...and you're getting paid for it.Dressing slutty in real life only reveals a negative self image,lac of confidence/self esteem and a need for attention.
I once had a friend that every time we would go out together,most guys thought she was a hoe or easy because she always wore clothing too small whereas her boobs were ALWAYS pooping out of her dress or shirts.It was severely embarrassing.At some point in our friendship,she expressed her low self esteem...and it made complete sense.I had to end my friendship with her because I felt she became jealous of me because I've never had to resort to such tactics.
I can say I dress sexy...because I always seem to wear...spandex.Hehe...im a bike rider for one,and secondly,i believe that my spandex pants accentuate my bum,and reminds me to STAY FIT.Along with that,im in combat boots and a tee. I've been told that I dress sexy,but in no way am I demeaning myself.Just my opinion.
if you are just out to get laid at a bar or club or whatever, then sure go ahead.
sexy is more about showing the shape of your body and just a little bit of skin, maybe a tight dress that shows a hint of your thighs but mainly leaves people guessing. basically sexy is a bit of a "tease", it hugs your shape and maybe shows a little bit of skin but just makes you look...good. not open. and leaves people wondering "hmm I really want to see what's under there"
slutty just shows it all, leaves nothing to the imagination. it's just not really appealing anymore unless he wants to slam his d*** in there while you lie back and call it a day...easy access
I'll break 'em down, the way I see it. This is just my opinion.
Sexy: A girl can be sexy in any clothing (except sweats, perhaps). Sexiness is not about clothing, but how a girl carries herself. A sexy girl knows how to grab the attention of all of the guys nearby. She's confident, has good posture, and is generally attractive. When a sexy girl dresses 'slutty,' this is a bonus, and, while not adding anything to the sexy part, is much more noticeable.
Slutty: A girl that looks like she's on a single mission: to get laid. A slutty girl tries way to hard to DRESS hot instead of LOOK hot. They put all of the work into their clothing, which can only get them so far with us.
Conclusion: Slutty describes how someone's dressed, and sexy is an attitude.
The thing I hate is attention whores who will purposely dress slutty, and then act all offended and shocked when someone calls them a slut lmao, it's just like wtf were you expecting with that skirt that barely covers your ass and those breasts spilling out over your bra. Whenever I see a girl dressed slutty I just assume she's easy and has daddy problems. The difference between sexy and slutty is huge, I think for me its partly the way they dress and also how a lady acts which defines her ladylike qualities. You basically see sluts out on the dancefloor literally f***ing guys right there and then, I like girls who have a little restraint and can actually be entertaining to talk to rather than jumping on my d*** at the first second

Sexy means attractive and still appropriate. It implies that there is still an air of mystery that will draw a guy in. Sexy is showing a little bit of cleavage or wearing a necklace that drops into a v-necked skirt, having a slit up the back of a knee-length pencil skirt, wearing a tight shirt underneath of a normal cardigan.
Slutty is letting it all hang out and not caring who sees. It's wearing a low-cut top AND a super mini skirt. It's having holes in your clothing, letting your bra straps hang out or showing that you're wearing thigh-highs instead of making that your sexy little surprise for your man to find when he runs his hand up your flawy skirt.
Sexy: Showing the shape of the body. For example tight turtle neck top, tight skirt to mid thigh, tights, heeled boots with flattering make up.
Slutty: Showing the body. For example: Tight top showing a lot of boob and part of bra, tight skirt to just under ass, high heels with flattering but excessive make up.
depends on the venue, I'm a guy and in my opinion, a girl who knows how to dress for a party and for a formal event is very successful in her relationship. A guy will never get bored of you if you know when to wear your daisy duke's with your ass sticking out and when to wear an elegant dress. being sexy or slutty is different depending on the girls figure, some Latina's can look sexy wearing a tight dress or jeans, whereas petit girls would have to put in some extra effort to pull of a sexy/slutty look.

Sexy = every guy you meet wants to have sex with you
Basically, it depends what kind of attention you wish to attract.
If you're only looking for a one night stand (which is up to you - who am I to judge?), dressing like a slut is a good way to signal your intentions.
Just don't dress like a slut and then complain that all the guys you meet are douches, and only interested in sex...
I think it's appropriate at certain venues yes, like night clubs, etc.

theres a difference between sexy and slutty the 2 aren't related at all. slutty is just well slutty. sexy can be any number of styles. the sophisticated look that leaves something to the imagination is very sexy.

Daisy dukes= slutty

Featuring ( not flashing) one body part at a time =classy
It's normal to see girls dressed up slutty when it's Halloween. Personally, I don't mind when certain girls, who are in shape, dress slutty and/or sexy because they've worked hard on their bodies.
