If I ignore a guy will he step up to the plate and want to see me more?

I don't like playing games but getting tired of my situation.

Ive been dating a guy for 5 months. Things are great and we have a great time- when we are together.

Initially he would ask me out at least 2 times a week for about 4 months.

Then it became just once a week.

He has called or texted me almost every day since he started dating me.

He still treats me great when we are together.

But afraid I am in limo with this guy.

Every time he calls I answer and talk. every time he asks me out I say yes.

I have never chased him nor done any initiating.

So will he see my worth and step up to the plate if I don't answer his calls all the time or sometimes say no when he asks me out

I knew I was going to get heat from saying that. I have told him that I am old fashioned and I like the man to do the initiating. He told me months ago he understood this. If he didn't he wouldn't still be talking to me. I am very receptive and warm when he does call. I do text him occasionally just not as much as he does me.
