Why do most girls hug their pillows while sleeping? Do you do same?

Why do some girls and some children hug their pillows? What is the meaning of this, anything special? do they wanna fellow to hug n sleep with them? Who do the same?

I do that. I just feel like it feels nice having something between my thighs when I sleep on the sides. It has nothing to do at all with wanting someone to hug when sleeping to me. It's funny cauae one time I was sleeping with my bf and he hugged me out of the blue saying "aww baby come here" when we woke up I asked him if he was dreaming and he said he wasn't. He saw me hugging a pillow and he thought I did that because I wanted to cuddle with him but he was facing the wall lok. It just simply feels comfortable.

I do sometimes bc I've found it a comfortable position that gives my neck extra support. I recently haven't been sleeping with a pillow and my neck feels stiff as ever sometimes.

I don't see a special meaning for that.

I do it because I sleep in the fetal position with a body pillow. If I don't have a body pillow to hug I'll flail in my sleep and wake up on the floor.

I'm a guy and I do that all the time. I can't sleep unless I have my arm around a pillow or two.
