Is there a such thing as "organic" food?

Do you guys really think there's no such thing about organic food... I mean think about it, it does take a while for a fruit to grow...

I think there is such a thing but most of the food that we buy isn't sometimes people call it and label it "organic" and fool people. I wish I could grow my own food but I do not have a green thumb like my dad does, whatever he plants will grow. My plants usually are in survival mode! lol I take care of them as much as I can.

in my place it's hard to find organic food so i just wash my fruits and vegetables thoroughly on a water with vinegar (3:1). i've read somewhere that there are foods you don't need to buy organic such as avocado, cabbage, sweet potato, watermelon, mango...

Organic food means no use of any synthetic fertilizers or food or GM , but is it really nutritionally better?
For how much you pay for organic food you probably can be 3 times the quantity of normal everyday people food.

i was under the impression that organic = chemical pesticide free

if you can get to a farmers market they have it there I buy organic produce but it goes bad faster, that's the only downside
