Do I need to take both whey protein and Creatine?

I already have a pre work out supplement so i dont need any of this for a pre workout but as of post work out shake. Do i just stick to creatine or whey protein or both? I really want to just do creatine (the one im getting its main thing is mono something lol it slip my mind creatine and other great ingrenets) do i need to have whey protein in my meal plan? Because i will be consuming foods high in protein!
