Do I have Synesthesia disease?

Sometimes i think my father or mother as smell. Or sometimes when i see somewhere's photo i can smeell it. Is It synesthesia?

u might have a good memory, i associate smells with memories too. i smelled some mango with spices on it the other day and then i was like ****summer 2009****

Not necessarily. Scent is very strongly tied to memory, so it's quite hard to say just based on that.

Synesthesia makes you view certain things in colour, like a specific tune being yellow, or the number 6, being green. It doesn't effect smell, does it?

There exist different kinds of Synesthesia, one of the more uncommon ones does indeed
effect smell, but it's supposed to be with colours, not specific pictures. Synesthesia mildy translated, is "merging sensations".
