How do you deal with your acne?
What do you guys do?
So here's what my "journey" with acne has been like:
Hit puberty. Crazy acne all up in my face all of the time. Tried easily a dozen different products and everything either had no effect or made it worse. I stayed on one of the ones that had no effect for a long time, hoping it would eventually work. One day, at around 18 years old, I stopped using it. A month later, I had virtually no acne. To this day, I only get little normal blackheads and the occasional big zit, but my skin is mostly really clear. And I only wash my face with water. If I use cleansers or soaps, I break out again.
So, I'm not saying the "all-natural, don't mess with it" approach would even work for many people, and I KNOW I'm lucky as f***, but if you've been loading your face with products for a looong time without a break, it's at least worth a try, just to make sure your "skin chemistry" hasn't changed.
Also, I doubt this means much to you, but I personally don't think acne is hugely unattractive.
No actually that last part does mean something to me, it's good to know :)
I go to the dermatologist often. I have bad acne I was hoping it would go away by the time I got out of my teens but I'm always going to have it adding to all the problems that I have. The doctor gives me pills and a cream which work but I still break out from time to time.
i would get rid of those creams if I were you. I used to get pretty bad acne then I did some poking around online. all you need to do is drink a lot of water and put lotion on your face. I drink about two times the daily recommended amount of water each day, probably more. I noticed results in reduction of acne within only a few days. water cleans out your system and gets rid of bad toxins that cause acne. so start with drinking lots of water. secondly the lotion, apply lotion to your face twice a day, once in the morning after you shower and once at night after rinsing your face. this is because it is easier for acne to grow on oily skin than on dry skin, so you have to keep your skin hydrated. hope this helps and good luck
I already drink a LOT of water... and what's wrong with the creams?
Only thing I did was that I washed my face every day and used moisturizing cream and just lived through it. Now they're all gone. Just a couple break outs every now and then.
Some of my friends took acne medicine for a month or two and it did work. It requires a recipe from a doctor at least in Finland.

Best thing Ever! Clearasil!
This is the brand I have used since my preteens, and I'm 21 now. I've tried Clean and Clear but that just made it worst. I swear by the Clearasil Brand and they just get more advance. I use their daily cleansing pads, and when I get really bad pimples, their 4hrs reduction cream. I highly recommend this brand!
Well for a start I have a healthy organic, vegetarian diet. I use a face cleanser and also don't sleep in makeup. The makeup I use is very light and has no nasty chemicals in it. If I get any acne I let it go by itself so no scarring. Also egg white face masks really help.
I used to get it really bad around my mouth and forehead I don't anymore make sure you hands are clean when you wash you're face avoid using cloths and spounges on you're face because they are germ carriers sea salt is really good for you're skin so hit the beach sometime when you wash you're face use a good acne product use you're bare hands make sure there clean first that should help you clear you're face up.

You were right the first time when you spelled it "germ" haha
Oh I thought so ha ha I had a head injury awhile ago my brain still gets a bit confused about certain things
Yikes what happened?
car crash
I went to the dermatologist and got prescribed Epiduo and oral antibiotics. I've been on them a little over 2 months now, and they work beautifully! Though, I just got my pills switched because the ones I had were making me extremely nauseous.
I get maybe 3 bumps a month. But when I do get those bumps I use clean and clear, Clearasil, or neutrogena. All depends if it is a blackhead or I also need a moisturizer, or morning wake up.
I went to my regular doctor and she wrote me a perscripton.
I do not get it but my girlfriend has it a bit and she controls it well with oxy pads and Retin A
Use age-defying everything.
