Is body acne a deal breaker?

Imagine you’ve been seeing someone for a while and they’re everything you could hope for and more.

When you undress them for the first time you notice that they have moderate to severe acne on their body. (Chest, back, butt, whatever.)

You know that they bathe regularly and can only deduce that it’s the result of a skin condition.

Would this ruin your ability to be attracted to that person?

I would take them to the best dermatologist possible and help do whatever needs to be done to help treat it. Not because the acne is unattractive, but because it can cause a lot of permanent skin damage, infection and complications later in life. But i prefer to be single, and appreciate that lifestyle because I will never have to worry about things like that.

Not for me because I understand the struggle. I no longer have it but i used to have severe acne on my chest, back and face. I was so insecire and didn't want to wear anything that could show my chest or back. I felt really ugly. But I'm good now but i understand if someone has their insecurities. So i wouldn't make it a dealbreaker

Nobody... no body is flawless. My dude has it on his back a little... and I still gladly rub his back, pop them bumps when he asks. You'll be fine don't over wash it, as that can irritate acne more actually. I use natural ph balanced (5.5) soap with lavendar oil in it so it helps to fade the blemishes as time goes on.

Well, I would be turned off by the idea of him not taking care of himself, but if as you say he showers regularly and its a skin condition of course i wouldn't be turned off. It's not his fault and he probably doesn't know how to deal with it. If I really liked him as a person i wouldn't really mind.

I dated a woman years ago who had a lot of blemishes on her face, she was a great person... only reason it didn't work out was cos she was far too much like another of my closest friends who i classed as a brother... so became quite awkward tbh

No, acne would never be a deal breaker. A natural short term blemish or a scar would never be a dealbreaker. I wouldn't care about that at all. Manmade tattoos would be. If she undresses and there is a tramp stamp or some panty line tattoo or intimant piercings. I would immediately know this is short term and she is not girlfriend material.

nope, i also shower at least 2times daily up to 4 times daily (ye i know, too much but life is boring haha) and i have a lot acne on back and sometimes on face too. can't remove them, but there is one therapy that is very strong and i need go to few tests etc... to start with that shit but im too lazy

I had a lot of acne on my chest and back, but 2 years ago I started living healtier. I had no caffeine or any kind of soda for 2 years and I'm smouth as hell baby. I do have facial acne tho but It's part of pubery. :W

It wouldn't bother me though. I get it on my back and sometimes on my chest too due to my hormones (not severe, just a little bit)

Depending on how bad the acne is it could be a deal breaker. A little bit I would say is fine, I mean I don't expect anyone to be perfect.
