maybe its just me but society has pretty much ok'd every other previously questionable dating scenario ( queer , trans , black/white , inter racial , senior , widowed )

I’m really confused by this question because one has to do with age and the other behavior, which aren’t really related to one another. How do we define what a “bad guy” is? Wouldn’t it be better to protect women from bad guys by forbidding bad guys to date them? If a 30 year old wants to date an 18 year old, okay. But if that 30 year old turns out to be abusive, then what? Is the 18 year old forbidden from dating him, or will he be forbidden from dating other 18 year olds?

I think people should do as they please, so long as it’s legal and consensual. I try my best not to feel creeped out by my greying 45 year old friend hitting on teenagers.
