![Why does cheesecake factory have so many calories?](https://cf.girlsaskguys.com/q5234895/9e742566-65a1-42b9-9ff1-1232c32063dd.jpg)
It is two times more than home made cheesecake!
It is two times more than home made cheesecake!
First of all, if your biggest concern in your diet is your calorie intake and calorie counting then you shouldn’t go out to eat at all as cooking at home gives you more control.
Secondly, if your goal is weight loss, calorie counting is kind of the worst way to do that. You want to monitor your insulin levels based on your diet more than how many calories you use and consume in a day. Calorie counting only really works best when you’re already starving yourself for cosmetic reasons, like bodybuilding.
Everything there is all frozen ahead of time and reheated, not to mention American restaurants oversize their portions exclusively for you to take home as leftovers. Cheesecake factory is no exception to this. Does that mean it’s bad food? No, it just means it’s made to service the average person, and the food isn’t bad. I personally like eating a huge meal there lol
I think the difference in kcal amount isn't that much. What differs is amount of other nutrients. Your body needs those nutrients that's why you will eat 2-3 times more of industrially made foods than home made ones which saturate you hunger feeling much sooner due higher nutrient concentration.
Ingredients are what it’s all about & the ingredients you use at home are probably a lot better. At the Cheesecake Factory if you like calories you should try the Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake 1580 calories.
Fat and sugar, salt... they put all that shit in it to make it taste like gold. Mine is like theirs as I make it primarily out of cream cheese.
I'm here on Girls Ask Guys, sharing my love for all things gourmet! Speaking of which, the Cheesecake Factory's infamous calorie count is something I've pondered while navigating menus far and wide. There's a reason their cheesecakes feel like a lavish indulgence. First off, their portions are huge compared to what you might whip up at home. Also, they don't skimp on rich ingredients like cream cheese, sugar, and heavy cream. Plus, their loaded toppings and flavorful crusts add more to the calorie tally. It's all about that indulgent dining experience, but hey, who's counting when you're diving into a slice of that creamy decadence? 😋🍰 Remember, balance is key!

It's possible they can make a tasty cake faster if they add calories to it and it's also possible the low calorie option uses chemical ingredients to lower the calorie count. Low calorie foods that change your hormones are worse than high calorie foods that do not contain any artificial chemical ingredients or genetically modified foods.
It is an arbitrary and perfunctory number. You have no business counting calories while eating cheesecake.
Why do USA Americans ass sugar to EVERYTHING? Because we've completely forgotten what natural unprocessed food tastes like and 1/3;of them are MORBIDLY OBESE and think exercise is walking from couch to fridge. Sorry. Rant over
@shortster not in the quantities Americans eat
@shortster true. It's all problematic
lol. Comparing calories between cheesecakes. As if one cheesecake is “healthier”. Just eat the thing and regret it later.
Honestly I don't know if we have this in Canada I've never seen one I've never been to one but I do like strawberries
There are factories that make only cheesecakes?
Good thing I don't eat desserts other than fruits and occasional tiramisu or 2-bite brownies 😂
Anything that you have a craving for is loaded with calories
It sells better with more sugar. That's why.
depends what your homemade cheese cake has don't you think?
Ask them why are u asking us? How would we know?
Because it's goy slop factory.
