Guys, do basic chicks catch your eye in public?

Do you pay attention to "Plain Janes" when you see them on the street?

And I mean girls who do care about their looks, put make up on, wear fashionable clothes, but just are not the "typical beauty". Not girls who don't even put effort in their appearance.

Do average looking girls stand a chance to pretty, posh ones?

beauty is in the eye of the beholder.. personally I think the "eye catching" ones who wears tons of make up are mostly not worth to look at. Being fashionable is more eye catching but it's only a bonus. To me a girl doesn't really have to be all that, I can almost always tell if a plain looking girl is actually very pretty if she puts effort on her appearance. These type of girls are more attractive to me.

If they have a decent body and clothes that fit, decent chance they get noticed.

Ok so the thing that attracted you would be the body, right?

I think that would most likely get my attention first. To be honest walking around the city I notice a decent body more with peripheral vision. Then I'm checking face, hair, style etc. so if her body is -decent- and clothes kind of show that (not revealing maybe just fitted) then is check her out. And of her face is plain but she has good makeup and hair and is well put together, she'd overall look fairly attractive.
