Is it creepy to send a girl flowers with barely knowing her?

A girl, that was in my high school class, has a birthday coming up. I like this girl and she did some weird stuff towards me while we were in school. they didn't involve me personally, but they seemed pointed towards me.

Anyways since I like this girl, I was wondering if it would be creepy to send her flowers for her birthday. it would have a card saying "Happy birthday, may greatness find you in all your endevours" or something like that. it would also say sincerely my name and on the back my phone number.

Here is where the creepy part comes in, even though girl has made things towards me without her thinking I have acknowledged it, she and I really never had a discussion at all. well except for freshman year when we would talk all the time in one class we had. But all this time I never got her number or address.

That's where I think she might get freaked out, I have her address in a student phone book, but if I did send it would that be considered creepy?

ok so you haven't really been very much in touch with the girl huh but you like her. and you think she has been sending some signals. you wanna send her flowers you say...hmm and its her bday. considering that you and she haven't really talked, flowers would be a bit too much...as in...i see her getting the flowers and the little card (which is rather nice!) and den ur phone number at the back...whoa. I would think mein this guy has a crush on me or...wow...he's very...friendly(but I would think it a strange sorta freaky friendship).

if you want her to notice you have sent her something..and this could also open up some opportunities...try somthing other than flowers.flowers are too..romantic-like. maybe you can find out what her interests are.for example.if she likes to read..a good book would be great. if you want to giv her ur number so you cud open even more doors..insert it in the book on a piece of paper..and that quote you had "Happy birthday, may greatness find you in all your endevours" you can write in the book.maybe you kno a band she likes..u can get her a cd and do the same..number in the case. and maybe what can also help is above ur phone number write "keep in touch =)". this should fully erase any chance of her being freaked out. she'll say aww sweet and save ur number.this way she'll text you some day and you'll be able to get to kno her.

Are you kidding? From time to time other ladies at my work will get flowers and I secretly dream that someone would send me flowers.

One of the ladies at my work got the most beautiful roses. These things were gorgeous! She told me that some guy she knew, not well had asked her out , she told him no, but he still sent her the flowers the next day. She wasn't happy about it. More so because he sent them to her work...As I don't think she wanted him to know where she worked at. But to each it's own. I personally would love it if someone sent me some...

I cannot see why she wouldn't like them...

I did something like this for a girl but it was in the 8th grade and it was V-Day. She wasn't the most popular girl in school and I could tell she had some self-esteem problems. Really nice girl, I don't think we ever spoken to each other. Anyways, I had saved some money for something else but I decided to sent her a bouqet of wild flowers. They were much prettier than a bunch of soon-to-be dead roses. I ran right before football practiced and just had "Secret Admirer" written on the card.

The next day she was so happy, she walked with her head held high and just seemed a bit more social. She got a boyfriend a month or two later! So it was good for her.

I have no idea what she thought but just observing it made her feel good about herself. Not sure if this helps you but that's my experience.

I would say hold off on the flowers amigo. She might be creeped out and if you have to question it, most cases your instincts are right. Instead, I suggest you try to talk to her and get to know her a bit better. Maybe invite her to the movies and see where it goes from there. Your heart is in the right place but I would avoid it until you get to know her a little more.

Call her up & have a chat with her. If the convos going well, ask her out to lunch or dinner. When you take her out , then give her a bouquet of flowers. She'll really appreciate it & will put it on her check list of how thoughtful you are.

Send the flowers! Not creepy! Sending flowers is a super-romantic and under-used gesture. So sweet and chivalrous!
