Large frame? can never be skinny?

I measured my wrist and calculated online , turns out I have a large frame , does that mean I can't ever be skinny ? ( I'm currently losing weight )

What does a large frame mean exactly ?

of course you can still be skinny , but you have what I guess people would call "heavy bones". It means you bone structure is a bit bigger than average. A lot of large framed women also are fairly tall.

It's not a bad thing, but chances are you will never really look "petite" which appearently a lot of guys find attractive.

Also, please don't take this as offense but how heavy are you right now? If you're overweight but not obese (BMI up to 30) chances are measuring you're wrist is pretty accurate. However if you're bigger than that you're body will also store a certain amount of fat around your wrist and that obviously skrews up the measurments. Judge yourself, there should barley be any fat in that area if you want it to be accurate .

well I don't look at your wrists. The reason they take wrist for that measurment is because most people don't store a lot of fat there.

maybe try to measure normal and then pull the band as tight as you can (without hurting yourself obviously) and measure again. There should barley be a difference 1/4 inch max. If it's more than that it may be inaccurate

It doesn't mean you can never be "skinny"...it just means you will never be skin and bones like a lot of the models these days are.

I'm big boned too...nothing wrong with it, it just means you're not technically petite, but you're not fat. You're healthy. :)

Focus on how clothes fit and your proportions, don't compare your number on a scale to other people's.

because I love girls on the thicker/larger side. I like them waaaay more than smaller girls. you're good! don't ever change :D
