How do I get my dad to stop using my razor?

So I've started noticing lately that my dad keeps using my razor. Every time I go to take a shower, my razor is somewhere different and has hair from his beard on it. It's extremely gross ! Plus, he has his own razor and I don't understand why he won't use his. I've even confronted him and he just acts like its not a big deal. It's even wasting my money because I have to keep replacing it. How can I get him to stop using my razor?

So first off, tell him not to use it. Explain to him that apart from it being extremely gross, it's not hygienic at all. Even two guys should never share the same razor or electric shaver to shave their face. It can cause infections.

Second, don't keep it in the shower or somewhere where he can easily reach it. Keep it somewhere between your own stuff.

Finally, if you want to be bold, make it look like you have used his. Make it look obvious by leaving some hairs on it and so he can see it. Maybe he'll confront you about it.

That's kind of nasty to be honest. And aren't razors for women made differently. I would tell him to get his own.

I would keep the razor in my room and explain to dad or buy him another razor that it is extremely gross. What if you had hiv or he did.

Exactly! and he can't understand that. There's other infections you can get besides HIV from sharing razors..

I know. It is far better to keep it in your own room and buy him another "manly brand" one. man brand are cheaper than female brand razor. I know a guy who keeps his toothbrush in his room too. It is far better to do that then to find out that dad drop your toothbrush in the toilet and took it out without washing it for you (happened to my brother!).

The worst part is that he had his own like one or two shelves over from mine. I even tried talking to him about it while my mom was in the room and I ended up getting yelled at over it -.- Because neither one of them think that it's a big deal. But oh wow! I feel bad for your brother lol that's really gross.

Hide it when you're not showering (e.g., keep it in your room and just bring it with you when you need it).

My college roommate freshman year used to steal my razor as well. Just tell him you shave your genitals with it and he will reconsider. It worked with my friend.
