Advice for going into an adult detentionary facility? (Jail)

Any advice to give to someone that will be going to a public jail for 30 days or more?

Have a confident demeanor along with a solid, strong mindset that can't be easily persuaded.

Take up boxing. Know how to defend yourself. Based on documentaries I've seen, jails tend to consist of disgsuting, disgraceful ass animals who have desensitized themselves to any bit of integrity and completely let go of humane behavior. It is crucial that you know how to defend yourself and don't give off a weak vibe. Just stay strong, okay? Don't let them break you. Know that God is with you. Don't try to make friends. I don't want to scare you but realistically, there are some sex depraved perverts in there who surely would take advantage of that. It's f***ing dispicable and they should all be shipped to an island where they can rape each other and never experience the fruitfulness of a society with MORALS again.

Don't die.

Don't get involved in gang activity.

Don't pick sides.

Keep your head down.

Despite popular belief, jails are actually more dangerous than prisons in terms of environment. Reason being jails have a much more fluid population. The population is always changing. Prisons are much more stable.

So just do your time and don't pick fights.

Pray as much as possible and try to be positive. Build muscles so you don't get victimized.

Don't get in debt, never back down from anyone no matter what the situation is & don't ever rat.

Do your own time & you should have no problems.

Other than don't drop the soap? I'd say try and make friends with one of the toughest guys in there, so that nobody else tries to mess with you.
