The photo is exactly what I feel right now after my breakup! I was shocked my girlfriend left a guy like me who would’ve been 100/10 for her. I was far beyond any of her expectations and then we started arguing for a couple weeks, nothing that bad and then she ended things and got cold feet. We have a good connection and everything and I invested so much time into her.

Now I’ve lost hope.

I am Gen Z and I think maybe girls just aren’t built to fight for love just run away in difficulty.

My girlfriend broke up with me and gave me loads of reasons why she didn’t want to be with me and I gave in to all her requests which may have made me look desperate tbh, but I liked her.

She kept saying not sure, not sure and I kept saying how I really want to make it work. I didn’t beg her to stay though. But tried my very best to try and keep her, saying I’ll work on all the things she said.

Then at the end, I said that I wish her luck in life and that I would appreciate if she never contacts me again, then proceeded to remove her off Instagram straight away.

Let’s say the first time you have sex with that person it was bad, a car crash. Is that reason to breakup with someone

I've had mixed reactions to breakups. One in which I recognized was basically over anyways, I felt nothing. I felt angry and sad when infidelity occurred, but my last one, I feel relieved.

It was hardly a relationship, just 18 days of lots of talking and all. But her need for attention became insatiable, I spent hours a day talking and it was never enough. She blew my phone the hell up when I went to make soup and tend to my dogs for 10 minutes.

I go to the bathroom, I come back to several missed calls and accusations that I cheated. No matter how much time i spent talking to her, the next day, she always wanted even more time commitment and on video calls, she got mad when I tried to multi task.

Her constant needs for reassurance, short fuse and a relationship in which she'd already brought up marriage several times, her need for attention and validation being exhausting, and it felt like being suffocated.

I told her over and over I needed space, she'd send 10 messages within a minute of me saying it. All this to say I am happy she is out of my life, she was very toxic and controlling, and I won't be with someone who doesn't even respect me enough to stop pestering me every 2 seconds.

She got me out of my comfort zone with cooking, that's the best thing I got from it. I ended it with her, brushing off her angry closing remarks. I'll find someone else, it's okay.

I hope the next woman I form a connection with will be more mature and reasonable. How do you usually feel after breakups and why?

If your ex was calm during the breakup. Like not emotional, but understanding and then wishing you luck in life at the end.

Is that more hurtful?

To marry a girl you have to accept this:

Girls are far less agreeable than men. Like my girl won’t even move in with my parents (we have a mansion) just for 6-12 months until we can afford a really nice home.
It’s usually men negotiating around the wife like she’s some boss.

Girls use their emotions and tears to manipulate and control men.

No girl kept their legs closed. Do I need to say more. It’s sad.

You even see girls on hen dos disrespect their husband on their nights out. The respect for men has gone.

Women love the kids 100x more than any husband so you will be the first that gets thrown under the bus in hardship.

Marriage/divorce is still a legal contract like it was in 1960s - so in a breakup the woman gets the kids, money, house everything.
Girls are mean they’ll use guys and spit them out. They take everything in divorce.

It sucks for men because it’s either that or be single. So we are forced to make a bad option. Men are forced to be a simp or be single forever. That’s such an upsetting decision to have to make.

Men only get married to make the woman happy, we don’t care about it.
