Is it alright to go out for food with your guy friend who has a girlfriend?
We got to know each other for over a year already. We considered each other very close friends and used to chat a lot with each other and been there for each other in tough times. I had romantic feelings for him before [never told him] but have numbed myself from feeling it ever since he had a... more

I have a boyfriend, but how do I make this guy my friend?
There's a guy at my college who likes me, and he's made it clear. However, he knows I have a boyfriend so he's not going to make a move, and I don't want to cheat on my boyfriend. Even so, this guy is really cool and I really like him as a person. If I was single, I'd definitely date him, but I'm... more

How do you know if your best friends likes you?
We have been friends for 14 years and always platonic. When I break up with him, I find that he increases the frequency of his calls. In all the years, he has never mentioned the girls he dates.only alluding to some past encounters. Never talks about anything in the present time. I have wondered... more

Just friends? Or something else?
Ok guys when you break up with a girl and say that you just want to be friends and then you make the effort to be friends, do you really just want to be friends or are you trying to keep the girl tied to you so she will feel that she can't move on?

Competing with a bf's platonic friend?
I've been seeing my guy for a while now and totally adore him. Our personalities click perfectly and we both really like each other. One of his friends, however, is a looser. Its a girl, which normally wouldn't bother me, but she's very promiscuous and annoying. Anything male in the room must... more

Platonic to romantic, is it possible? Is it worth it?
There is a girl that I met a few months back in June, and I was immediately taken with her. I made what most would consider a cardinal mistake (thanks alcohol) and told this girl on the third time we hung out exactly how I felt about her. Even as far as to tell her she has many qualities that I... more

What is the deal with "I don't date friends?"
When a girl says "I don't date friends because I don't want to hurt our friendship," does that actually translate to "you are my friend but you are just not good looking enough?" Or could that translate to "you are my friend but you are just not datable period?" When a girl says that she doesn't... more

Why do guys talk to their female friends about other women?
I'm good friends with a guy I used to date, but he tells me when his ex girlfriend calls him, makes comments about how 'hot' some woman on tv is, and also mentions checking out random women's boobs who pass by. Does he think I'm just 'one of the guys'?
