Sexosomnia, if you are unaware of the term, is like sleepwalking but instead of walking you fuck instead whilst fully asleep. First time - according to girlfriend whose description I have to accept because I have no memory of it - I just pulled up her nightie and went for it.

Fortunately she just thought it was funny and enjoyed complaining about it at breakfast. After being told I had a vague remembrance of ejaculating.

Locally there is a rape trial where platonic friends were drinking. When it was time for bed she insisted on him sharing her bed. He warned her he had had sexosomnia events but because they were both drunk their judgement was impaired.

Sure enough he had a sexosomnia event and was charged with rape.

Like that guy, when I start sleeping with a woman on a frequent basis I disclose to her and they haven't been concerned. A girlfriend is one thing but a platonic friend is another.

It is too great a risk. I'm not a classic case as I have never sleepwalked but I have sleepfucked.

I would, and I have. She came to my place after ice skating and decided she was too tipsy to drive home. I offered to sleep on the sofa, but after a bit she said something like "Can you behave?" I said "yes", it was no problem for me. So I got into bed, and in a couple of minutes we were spooning. She left in the morning and we never had another date.

I remember in college, a friend and I traveled to a bowl game together a few states over. We slept in the same hotel bed. We were plenty exhausted from the long day so sex wasn't even on anyone's mind. Granted we ended up waking up in knots with each other, I wouldn't consider it cuddling though since we were asleep.

If the situation forces me and a woman I'm friends with to sleep in the same room, she can have the bed. I'll sleep on the floor, or see if I can make room in the closet and sleep there. I'd prefer if we weren't even in the same room though.
