How do you feel about sharing a bed with a platonic friend of the opposite sex?

If a guy and a girl are just friends (and they both know it), do you think it’s alright for them to share a bed? Would you be alright with sleeping in the same bed as your friend of the opposite sex?

Or is it weird? Or does it get weird, say, after a certain age?

Hmm.. it might be a bit awkward, but hey! If this is a close friend, then it wouldn't matter to me at all. I mean hey, they're a friend and I trust them. Besides, a good 90% of the time we'd be sleeping! So there'd hardly be any interaction haha.. I mean, realistically.. you'd just get in bed maybe chit-chat for a bit then go to sleep. I probably wouldn't think too much about it. I think my biggest worry would be accidentally bumping him in my sleep.. since I kinda roll around. Or maybe he's one of those guys that'll randomly get a boner in his sleep so that could be pretty awkward to see if I did.. but eh, nothing he would be able to control lmao. I mean hey, he's human lol.

I think it's very possible to do it and I have several times! I have even slept in the bed several times with guys and both of us were naked! I can be friends with guys and sleep with them without having sex with them. Have you done it?

Would not do it for several reasons:
1.) i could easily forget boundaries when I’m half awake and spoon or something like that. Or she could do thr same... Even if invited that could be bad for the friendship later.
2.) appearances. it’s an intimate thing and their SO & other people would never believe nothing happened. That’s unnecessary complications.

No problem with it as long as she doesn't smell. I've done it before without it being awkward, if you've done any kind of travelling it's all part of the compromises (in some places you can only get a room with a double bed).

If they are just friends literally sleeping in the same bed at the same time. Then no that's fine. However think about the guys girlfriend or the girls boyfriend. If you don't feel comfortable telling them you slept in the same bed then it's not ok. However both single? Absolutely fine

Sharing bed it a highly personal experience. And platonic suggests the other person doesn't know. Bed time is where you are most vulnerable so subconsciously you bond to those who you share with very closely. It end up eventually in one's leg going through other's leg and, well, woo.

Platonic, by definition, refers to a relationship which isn't sexual. And like I said, both parties know it. I'm referring exclusively to a situation where both parties are on the same page and aware of each other's boundaries.
And, if that's the case, then why do people have less qualms about same sex friends sharing a bed?
I've shared a bed with other girls. I haven't 'bonded' with them in any romantic or sexual way.

I dunno... I think I got overlooked by some basic biological drives, such that I don't have to worry about suppressing them, because they're already pretty absent.

For instance, my body does not and never has signaled thirst for me. This has been a major problem--I've passed out from dehydration a few times in my life. I simply NEVER feel thirsty, even if I'm dehydrated to the point of losing consciousness.
Another--and perhaps more relevant to this topic--example is that I have a very low, virtually non-existent sex drive. I've even started to wonder if I might be asexual. I don't get aroused nearly as easily or as frequently as everyone else.
