I have the lowest self esteem ever. It is mostly from things in my past that have made me feel this way. So I never believe guys when they say nice things to me. Is low self esteem bad?

I don't know why but I have low self esteem. I get told I pretty but I can't get a guy to approach me. They text me but they won't come talk to me. I feel lonely and unattractive...any advice?
