He broke up with me, says he will always love me but will he be back?

My boyfriend of three years broke up with me and says he will always love me, I will always have a piece of his heart, will always be there for me, blah, blah, blah. He said the relationship isn't the same, all we do is fight and he would rather be sad and alone, then unhappy with someone he loves and have his mind think "what if"... I believe him and agree with him because the relationship was strong until about three months ago. We just couldn't let the small stuff go. Every fight from then on turned into bickering and got to the point where enough was enough for him. I take full responsiblity that I questioned him to much about "if he wanted someone else, from how he was has been acting". He says he would never, not while he was still with me, because he could never disappoint me like that. I asked this because I am three years older than him, and am a independent woman with my own home, car, good job, etc. He still lives at home, and is comfortable there. I felt like staying with me may be holding him back from experiencing everything I did when his age.He said no but this is a repeat of his last relationship. Only she dumped him after two years and she is two years younger than he is and he ended up cheating on her. She wanted him back, and said she always loved him and he said to her he was happy with what he has now(me) that was a year and a half ago tho. She is still apart of his life and that scares me, and he knows it.

He says he loves but can't be in unstable relationship. All of our "trying" didn't work it out. He doesn't want me to wait for him either. I wanna take this as a "break" but I have come to accept the break up, I know he truly loves me, but find myself still asking, Will he ever come back to me? and did I push him to do this?

One thing that I've learned is that you risk getting hurt even more when you chase someone you've been with. You only chase to prove love, but once love has already been proven what else is there to chase for? Someone who chooses to go their separate ways has already made their decision and the best way to get them back is to let them face the consequences of their own decision alone. Just remember when someone initiates a break up, it's because, in their mind, they have a legitimate reason. Unless you are wrong, that's when you sit and wait for them to come back. But if you are wrong, you request a talk in which you will sit down and discuss why the decision was made and express your feelings to that person. After that, all you can do is wait. The crying and the begging only makes it worse. Give the person space and time to think about their decision and see what comes out of it. It's not too good of an idea to be too close after a break up with the person when your feelings are still strong. Be careful so that you don't get hurt.

My girlfriend of three years broke up with me. She doesn't even seem to care anymore at all. I cry daily about her still, and it's been 6 months. She is immature and broke up with me because she's never had another boyfriend and wonders "what else is out there". But I treated her like a queen and I'm so so heartbroken. I am mad at her for doing this to me, but she'll always have a piece of my heart. I always think about the "what if's". If she does come back (which she will when someone hurts her) I don't think I'd take her back because it'd just happen again when something "better" comes along. Ironically I'm three years older than her and am in he same situation in life. Again, it's just immaturity. He will see how good he had it with you, what you had to offer him, and see that your love was undying. I am almost positive the same will happen to me. I'd do things for you, I wouldn't wait around and I'd try to find someone a little bit older, more mature and willing to love you back the way you love him.

first of all I'm really sorry about you and your boyfriend the truth is that he might be back and he might not, all you can do is keep on living, maybe tell him how you feel
