me and this girl have been talking for almost 2 weeks. but she's been talking to this guy for 3 months. Thing is she told me she likes me and I said I liked her too. She told me she isn't interested in many guys I asked her if I'm in her interest and she said yes. she said one day me and her can actually be in a relationship if things don't work out with her and that guy or w/e.

but its her choice what should I do? be patient with her? or what?

Run, she is not available. Do not invest another ounce of emotion you will just end up hurt. She is playing you. Maybe not intentionally, but she is keeping you on a string. Here you keep liking me while I try to get with this other guy I like better, and if that doesn't really work out too well then I will come back around to you. Are you kidding. This is not how a loving person in general treats people. This just shows you that if you ever did get in a relationship with her, it will be all about her and what she wants and needs, with little consideration for your feelings. She isn't a quality girl. And how would you like to be the other guy. She is probably telling him she likes him too, and he has no idea you are in the picture. That is not nice. Run.

Don't let her play you like that. It's like you're running around and asking "am I good enough for you" when you should be asking "are you good enough for me". When a girl refers to having a possible relationship with you in the “future tense” rather then “present tense”, just walk away and find someone who really wants to be with you. If you run into her further down the road and your both unattached try agen, but don’t wait! Life is to short to spend it waiting for an uncertainty.

She's playing you because her words don't match her behavior.

She's playing with you because she's giving you convoluted explanations rather than being direct and simple.

If a guy was doing this to 2 girls, he'd be described as a player. It's no different when a girl does it to two guys.

You should associate with this girl only if you enjoy confusion and emotional abuse.

There's a high probability that she does this same pattern continually. She's constantly jerking a few guys around. It's like a hobby to her.

She doesn't know me that well she just met me...she knew this guy for 3 months...im not waiting for her but I don't think she's trying to mess with me because she did tell my best friend's girlfriend (which they are best friends) that she likes me but she needs time to get to know me before she can consider me datable.

Aside from that if she just wants a mess around then I don't mind...i'd rather go out with her but I'll the friends with benefits thing for a spin until she realizes I'm a great guy.
