Isn't it weird for ex's to FaceTime you?

So my ex broke up with me about 1 month ago.. and out of no where he randomly FaceTimed me, but I wasn't able to answer so I texted him and asked if he had the wrong number he said he meant to call me.. But to me it's weird because he broke up with me and now he wants to FaceTime me? Is it just me or maybe that's what Ex/friends do.. to me it hurts/sucks to talk to him over FaceTime. What do you think?
