From my experience, it's a bit of both. The person who gets dumped will feel sad because they got dumped and probably wish they could've done more. The person doing the dumping will feel like crap for doing it but also may question if they did the right thing. However, sometimes neither regret it and it's not always how I described it. But, in my experience, it was always the dumper.
The dumpee, nothing feels worse than getting dumped and seeing this person go off and have a better life.
I'd say most of the time the dumpee.. but I gotta say being the dumper this time I feel like absolute shit :c (he didn't cheat on me he was an amazing guy, I just knew I wouldn't work out long term. so I ended it)
my ex boyfriend dumped me for the same reason he got the feeling that our relationship won't be forever and that i am not the one, just out of the blue, i didn't notice anything, we had so much fun together and were absolutely inlove, we really liked eachother (at least that's what i thought).
do u regret that you break up with him? if he wants you back, would you give him another chance?
to an extent I regret it.. and maybe down the line (way down the line) I would try again. but we just don't fit right now. It was a mixture of distance, age, and my mental health that made me decide it was best to break it off
My ex cheated on me, all I broke up with him. Almost a year later he ended up stalking me because he said he felt bad. I guess I'd say the dumpee.
