My ex broke up with me in January because he lost interest in me. We haven't spoke in two months and now he has been staring at me and when I catch him, he looks away. What does this mean?

Many times when guys wish to break up with their partners is due to lack of understanding or in a current stressful situation that they believe breaking up with the person will calm them down. But then they realize after a month that they cared a lot about the person and that stress was temporary bit haf nothing to do with the feelings towards the person.
Unless it was a terrible relationship where cheating was involved and etc. Then we do not regret it. But we still do go through the "I miss her phase"

People break up for all kinds of reasons. Some may seem like the right thing to do at the time or for the right reason. But no one is perfect and sometimes we jump the gun or make snap judgements then later realize we didn’t give it enough time and regret ending it. I went through a similar situation a few years ago but alas I had to move on.
How are any of us here supposed to know what it means how your ex looks at you? It could literally mean anything. Just go ask him.

I saw a meme and it explained it perfectly. While a girl is upset, the guy is celebrating. While a girl is getting better he's getting worse. Then the last one is the girl is all happy and over the guy, the guy is depressed and upset because he realized what he lost

I find myself doing this when I see my ex. Not bc I miss her, but tbh I just do it and can't explain it. Maybe I'm seeing to see if she's looking at me or something. But for you it really depends. Guys go through a weird trip after a breakup, which includes what-if scenarios. Don't think anything of it until you guys had more time apart
