When do guys realise and regret leaving?

As i mentioned earlier about my ex leaving me he has left me 2-3 times before because of some “issues”. But since it was really different this time he never abused me before it only started when he came back this time. I don’t want him back i just want him to realise what he did to me I want him to beg me the same way i begged him to stay and not leave me. I want that time to come where he’ll come and I’ll be so happy that I’ll show him what he lost. But there’s this part of me that thinks that since he has already came back like thrice will he regret what he did and try again this time?

You’re giving him waaaay too much power in your mind. You should’ve never begged him, that’s a regret you’ll have to make peace with. But waiting around hoping he will also plead is counterproductive to healing and honestly pointless if he’s a narcissist and/or leaves you repeatedly. Knowing your worth he wouldn’t have even left you once. Sure he may come back but not with an apology, not with regret or sympathy. So move on and cut him off. He will only get more abusive and toxic.

I think the best thing to do in this situation is too move on and cut him out of your life for good.
